“What is a progressive lens?”
As we age, our eyes begin to struggle to shift between near and far vision. This condition is referred to as “Presbyopia“, and anyone around the age of 35-40 will gradually start to see a change in near vision abilities. Progressive lenses (also known as PAL lenses) are designed to accommodate different vision distances when our eyes are no longer able to do so on their own. Different progressives are designed differently, with different patients and circumstances in mind. At Elite Eye Care, you can rest-assured that our optical professionals are trained and knowledgeable on fitting you in the perfect pair of progressives.
