Essilor Eyezen Lenses

Eyezen lenses are designed to relax and protect your eyes, and are especially great for patients often on the computer, phones, and other screens. The Eyezen lens has blue-light filtering built-in, which helps alleviate eyestrain and can help with getting better sleep. Eyezen is a great precursor to a progressive lens, allowing your eyes to do less work throughout the day, which makes a big impact on blurry vision, visual fatigue, headaches and neck pain. These lenses have an extended prescription design, which means the peripheral vision goes to the edge of the lens, unlike traditional single vision lenses. Instead of just having one point in the lens for the prescription, Eyezen has two, which ensures patients are able to have their best vision throughout the lens.

Eyezen lenses are also aspheric by design, meaning they are thinner at the center point of the lens. These are great for patients who have higher prescriptions, especially because peripheral vision will be enhanced by the extended prescription design.

Kids ages 6-12 are ideal candidates for the Eyezen Kids lens, which is designed to adapt to their unique visual needs.

Eyezen Start
The Eyezen start is ideal for patients 12-40 years old who are on a screen often and need strain relief.

Eyezen Plus
The Eyezen+ lens is optimal for patients 18-40 years old, who may be noticing trouble up close in their current glasses. Eyezen+ lenses have an enhancement in the bottom portion of the lens which gives a boost for reading. This boost helps alleviate strain by compensating for the difference [between near and far] so your eyes don’t have to!
